Good evening, how has your week been?
Mine has been busy, I've been writing hard and I have nearly finished writing chapter four in the new book, so it's progressing well.
I did have a storyline problem this week, I was struggling how to start chapter four. I knew where I wanted to go and, of course, I knew where my stating point was, having written chapter three, trouble is, I was struggling to decide how to get from A to B.
As with always, there is more than one way to get from A to B and I decided to just start writing and see where the story would take me so, on Tuesday morning I started writing and, lo and behold, the story took me where it wanted to go and I got to exactly where I wanted to be, in a way that took me a bit by surprise. It was almost as if the story was writing itself - maybe there are Fairies after all and maybe they are helping me write the book - you know what I say to people who say they don't believe in Fairies? You may have stopped believing in Fairies but they've never stopped believing in you! Makes you think, doesn't it!
During the week I recorded an interview for Cambridge 105 radio station for broadcast on their Drive Time program. I don't know when it will be broadcast but as soon as I know I'll post it on My Enchanted Forest Facebook page. For those of you who cannot pick up Cambridge 105 I will also post a link to the podcast when I have it. I listened back to the interview the other day, it sounds good.
I also wrote a three part magazine article entitled The Road to Becoming a Children's Author. The title, I think, is self explanatory, no need to explain its content!
That's all for now, see you next week
