Week Three

TALES FROM THE ENCHANTED FOREST

Well, it's been a couple of weeks since my last update but that doesn't mean I've been lazing, oh no, quite the opposite.

The radio interview was broadcast and sales of my latest book, Brownie Pack Holiday, improved for a few days afterwards, proving that people do listen to local radio, which is great news. Also, I have been booked for a story-time reading at my local library for April, and have booked stalls at a few village fetes throughout Cambridgeshire, roll on summer.

So, how's the new book coming on?

It's coming on well, I have completed the first five chapters, and written just under 18,000 words now and will crack on next week with chapter six.

A funny thing happened this week while I was writing chapter five, a new character invited himself into my story and stayed. I wasn't planning on him being in the book at all; in fact, I wasn't even thinking about him at the time and he just insinuated himself into the story and wouldn't leave.

His name is Robin Goodfellow, you may have heard of him from another story by a certain Mr Shakespeare, and now he's turned up here. As you can see from his picture, he is very mischievous and, I think, he will add some fun to this story, so I've decided to let him stay on the basis that he doesn't get too naughty!

I have an author's page on Amazon, all the books are available at the following link, prices start from just £2.62 for Kindle editions., P.C. Crussell Author Page
